Our unique handmade wood clasp bracelet has a contemporary stain less steel band.  The design of the clasp is clever and secure.  Two strong magnets hold the clasp together.  The clasp is available in three woods, cocobolo, ebony and Hawaiian Koa.  They are all known for their beauty and importantly their durability. The style of the bracelet is contemporary. The stainless steel band gives it an industrial architectual look.

Of all of the pieces we create (and remember we have been making things for 40 years) the wood clasp is technically the most challenging thing we make.  The tolerances are tight and the clasp is slightly curved so it fits onto a wrist.  We start by choosing lumber that is strong with pretty grain. Each piece is cut using a router.  The magnets are glued in using a two part epoxy. The clasp is then shaped, sanded and finished.  Once the clasp is all done the leather band is cut to size and carefully glued into the clasp.
